Accreditation is a voluntary and not-for-profit process. Accreditation of a distance education institution assures that it is performing according to the set principles and meets the required standards of an international online education institution.
IAAFOE follows a meticulously developed program in performing quality audits for accreditation purposes.
Accreditation from an authentic body means that the institution is offering quality education and its degrees are recognized. It ensures that the educational standards of the accredited institution would not deteriorate, which helps cement the institute’s credibility and wide recognition. This ultimately leads to higher acceptance of its degrees and its graduates in the job market.
Periodic re-evaluation by accrediting agencies provides ways to improve education. Also, accreditation is important for the smooth transfer of credits of students among colleges and universities.
